Towards the end of last year I was commissioned by Sprout Home to create a series of small concrete and hypertufa planters for a new hotel in Manhattan. The project is the biggest I’ve done (230 planters so far!) and to be part of such an amazing new venture is so exciting.
1 Hotel Central Park finally opened a few weeks ago and last week I took a little tour and got to see my work in place! The hotel is lush with greenery – giant kokedama in the lobby, moss panelling in the foyers, terrariums, wall-mountings and window boxes in every room – most of which is the work of Sprout. It makes for an incredible space, especially when combined with beautiful natural finishings like wood, leather, linen, sheepskin and concrete.
It is such a privilege to be a part of this project and to see my little planters in such an incredible setting.
Check out more of the hotel on their website!
Fantastic stuff Anna, you are a bit of a star!
