Hello from New York! I have lots to share from my travels but it has been so long since I did a :give: :make: or :wrap: post that I thought the travel stories could wait a little while longer while I shared this long-overdue :wrap: post. I hope you don’t mind!
I recently had a few important birthdays to celebrate, and I had to come up with some wrapping ideas that were quick and easy as I didn’t have much time or many supplies on hand.
For this feather wrapping I combined bright, multi-coloured feathers from Party Town and Knot & Bow gold starburst seals, which I bought from Mr Sparrow, using the stickers to attach two contrasting feathers to one corner of each package. I then used the same technique to make a matching card. The presents are wrapped in butcher’s paper, but kraft paper or even a fun patterned paper would also look great. You could also dip dye the feathers yourself and create a more soft, pastel look.
Tales from our USA travels coming soon…
Lovely idea. I could almost do that myself!
