:wrap: tissue paper balls

These tissue paper balls recently arrived at Mr Sparrow and I am in love! They come in a fantastic range of colours and in three sizes, large, small and mini. They are perfect for decorating rooms or parties, and the mini size is also an easy way to transform ordinary gift-wrapping into something really fun!

Start by wrapping your present. I used plain brown kraft paper because I always have it on hand and it makes a nice contrast with the bright colours of the tissue paper balls and the ribbon, but something patterned would work well, too.

Add some ribbon, either in a classic cross pattern or wrapped around the one side twice. I used some of my new fluro ribbons to create a nice colour mix with the tissue paper balls. Tie a knot at the end, and then open out your tissue paper ball and tie it to the knot using the string attached. Then tie your ribbon up in a cute bow to finish it off.

For small presents one ball works well, and larger presents look great with two tissue paper balls.
